Wow thanks for the helpful video. I bought a cheap grey new 3ds xl to mod. Noticed it had a line on the top screen from where the previous owner closed the lid too hard. This is helpful to replace it. Also noticed some scratches on the bottom digitizer. Thanks for your help
@@JayBoyModz how much would a display of Nintendo DSI cost? I need both the top and bottom display. Can you suggest me the best place to get it please?
yooo i didnt know you did full youtube videos. been following after my homie bought a gameboy advance from you a few years back. this is exactly what i needed
Im taking the project of modding and fixing my 3DS but this one is one great challenge. Is this something you would recommend for beginner to do? How high is the risk of messing up your nintendo forever?
As high as it can get? You really can’t put yourself at more risk of damaging a Nintendo hand held than by disassembling it. Not to say you shouldn’t do it though, just watch the proper tutorials and you should be able to do it safely without much worry.
Hi, when you use the hot air to remove / loosen the adhesive on the top screen lens, what temperature do you like to set the heat to? (so as not to melt or damage the surrounding plastics?) Sorry if this is a noob question, been thinking of attempting this fix for my personal system soon and genuinely have no idea what a good setting would be... Also, thanks for your help and for putting together these detailed videos... they are super helpful and inspiring for us DIY'ers!!
Hey I noticed there English text on your LL model by chance did you region change your model? If so what's your thought about it I have been debating on doing it cause many guides say it's not worth it cause it will break the eShop etc. But with the eShop closing soon I wonder if it matter if the eShop breaks
Hello! I've been wanting to repair my N3DSXL for a while but can not for the life of me find a reputable and fairly priced top screen for it. Could you maybe assist me?
2:31 I have a question why did you open the latch part for the nfc connector? I did a motherboard swap as I put the US motherboard on the Japanese blue new 3DS LL and I use a tweezers to get the nfc ribbon cable out as I can’t use my fingers as I could break it as the nfc reader work after I put everything back together.
I once used a screwdriver as a stylus on my original ds lite and when my dad saw me using it he flipped out and put the screwdrivers higher up on his peg boards so I couldn’t reach them😂😂.
So just curious, but would you be willing to repair the screen of my "NEW 2DS XL"? I accidentally poured a bottle of glasses cleaner on it, and it somehow got under the screen. It would mean a lot to me. I have many memories on there, and I don't have time to learn how to repair it myself because I'm busy with college...😅
I’m about to look now but do you have a video on modding Japanese to English as it’s a lot cheaper to get a good condition Japanese model than English one.
is there anyway I could pay you to do this to my 3ds xl? I dont want to mess it up and you seem like the type of person that can do it edit" along with this is it possible that you could change the SD card flap bc it wont go in properly bc one of the prongs is broken and if you aren't able to do any of these pls give me recommendations onto who I can send my 3ds to to fix it? thanks edit 2" I juts looked at my 3ds and I might just need a whole repair + clean :(
@@naderplayz They do! I bought mine from Aliexpress and it worked as long you install it properly and test the touch screen by game notes to ensure it’s working
Your videos are awesome bro. Do you fix other people's 3ds by any chance? Im so scared of mine breaking lmao i treasure it way more than my OLED switch 😂
