2 hours later. Cut part of the hose and used that at the base and help the top by tape and stuffed that inside of the handle. Looks like new and could not have thought of it without this video!
I have this exact vacuum and the hoses are split right where yours was lol. Now I’m waiting to find a Vac in the garbage to take a hose off and put it on mine just like you did
I need help with my button. The top broke and it is stuck locked. Could be a simple spring issue but I can't check anything since it's stuck on and the button will not open.
I have a similar model. When it's on, it always blows hot air out of the front vent, making it useless to try to vacuum a tile floor for dirt and or cat litter, etc, because it blows everything all over the place. It does seem to suck things up and out of carpeting and the upholstery attachment works as well. Is this a bad design or do I have something set wrong? I've cleaned the hoses, filters tank etc, and it still blows hot air out the front.
it is normal to get a little warm air out because it is also cooling the electric motor, but if you can make toast on it I would look and see if the motor is turning freely.
@@channelron3593 Thanks. It's not as hot as toast, but it's hot. Just seems like a weird design to have air blow out the front, which is the direction you're vacuuming? Someone gave it to me and said these cost something like $600?? Might be time to go back to a Dirt Devil.
I’m trying to fix mine now. For the past hour, I’ve broken the suction thingy that is grey that you removed and I cannot get the cone off. Mine is from 2010 so it might just be super stiff from age. If you know of any lube that might loosen it off, that would be really helpful.
