Great tutorial! What about replacing that bent buckle too? Seems like a safety issue to me, if its bent. It could crack if you just unbend it too.

You should make you a set that's a cross between shop and gentleman's suspenders and use some brass knuckles instead of the O ring. Then you would have mobster suspenders,lol
