I've seen many people complain about Pestilence so imo, all Ultra Horsemen are actually very balanced! The fact I've seen everyone go "No, X is the hardest!" means it attacks all forms of skil.

The best way to do that would probably be to make it so that you need an extra story item to fight beast. Something relatively simple get. Perhaps all you would have to do is explore around home, or maybe it would be locked behind something earlier on, before mom.

You could use the alt path to do it, like a mirror on the downpour ascent that has an entrance to a key item to unlock the 3rd phase Dogma. Or a secret passage on the Mines hiding the item. Either way, it's possible

this 100% Mother and Dogma are quite easy if you know how they telegraph attacks and are used to them, Delirium is just unfair with little to no warning when using attacks.

@@thestarfish5644 doesn’t seem like it. It’s been iOS exclusive for years. It only just started getting worked on again last year with the latest updates and dlc, so now theirs a chance it may come too android, but I wouldn’t bet on it

@@Toxic_Rain88 Every DLC is woth it eventualy, but it really depends on how much you wanna challange yourself. With each DLC, the itempool grows and there are more things to do and enemies (ussualy harder) to beat. If you want to get Real Platinum God achievement, I would suggest finishing Rebirth first and then buying DLCs chronologicaly. But in reality - the more you get to know the game since the start, the better :)

Why nerf it? It's an offiline single player foucused game, it seems like if some people need that option to experience all the game has to offer (item unlocks for casual players) and it's not something the more "skilled" players ever have to interact with why remove that?

And while we are at it, let's go all the way.. While, again, I do agree with your original sentiment, even though it has nothing to do with this situation. But still, it is ridiculous that people care how you choose to play single player.. However, there are limits to this logic. And I'm not sure realize that.. You cant just make parts of your game all willy nilly because "well, if this part isnt balanced right, then.. they can just choose not to use it if they want. Its on them..." Lmao no. Not only is that poor game design, and lazy.. it also just doesnt really work that way. Might sound good on paper, but our brains dont typically function that way. It's a well known concept among game designers, and pretty interesting if you wanna research it, but the people who make games have said that they basically have to make it impossible for us to take all the fun out of the game, or we will. Meaning, we will find the most efficient and effective way to achieve the desired outcome, even if it's not fun AT ALL... we will skip the awesome fun game mechanics, and min/max all the joy out of the experience.. if they let us. So, it's a thing, look it up, game developers have to actively create parameters to herd us to the fun.

Because Apollyon also allows you to play picky but to a much better extent (although more boring) instead of you gaining better items you just get stats I do enjoy Apollyon as he plays like issac
