Repentance - Dream Theater - Drum Cover (12 Step Suite) 

Ciao Guys, here I am (finally) back with the Twelve-step's 4th chapter!
It's been a while since my last video but if you already follow me on FB/TW/IG you know what happened during this (amazing) time :)
This is my rendition of Dream Theater's Repentance, from the album Systematic Chaos.
As you may know, this is part of DT's Twelve-step Suite (a set of 5 songs which deal with MP's past experience of alcoholism) and the song features steps eight and nine (“Regret” and “Restitution”).
We are getting closer to the end, too bad, but it's been a great experience so far and the next (and final) track is going to be a blast to play!
As usual, for this video I used a similar drumset configuration to the one that MP used in the studio (and then live with the Mirage Monster!) to record the album back in 2006/07.
I didn't use 2 bass drums though, for this song even the double pedal is more than enough. It's basically a ballad, so no crazy/fast stuff at all.
I had a good time learning and recording this song, a "slow" song like this is unusual for this channel so I'm glad I did it.
