This is only for 03-05, the 06-09 has LED for the main light, there is no bulb.

great video! however, i am trying to do this on my 2006 4runner and the lightbulb is not there (when i pull the thing out of the socket)! any ideas on where to find it?

You Gotta make sure you go to work gloves you can’t touch the bulb with any kind of oil or something would make that bowl pop out

Good direction. I couldn’t get the bulb housing to turn at all. Any ideas on how to get that counter-clockwise turn if the housing is stubborn?

My wiring harness for my tail lights looks different than yours. My bulbs you have to push down and turn I don’t have the socket piece. Anyone know how to fix this? I have the same bulbs you mentioned in the video but won’t fit on this wiring harness.

I have a 2008 4Runner and there is no break light bulb. It looks like the whole rear light has to be replaced

NOPE not on all of them ... some 4 runnes have an led pannel
