Replace a 78XX with a Zener regulator and transistor. Easy and simple solution to make with scrap. 

In this video we are going to make a simple regulator to build with scrap. It uses few easy-to-find components, and due to its flexibility, it is not demanding with the type of component.
Unlike a 78XX line that has a perfectly stable protection and output, the zener and transistor solution fluctuates a little, in addition due to the voltage drop of the transistor, it is not so accurate, but it serves to create power solutions if the margin error is acceptable in the circuit.
Typical circuit easy to do for those who want to test the components and have fun.
