Replace a stylus needle on a record player, in Discovery Tullamore

I've been searching for a good video for replacing my needle. I bought a new needle after my original one snapped off. After lots of time on youtube and google, I was convinced that there was something wrong with my record player and almost took it to a professional. Then I saw your video and it finally worked!! I think the best advice for this owner is to save your money and get something better. As long as you have some kind of amplifier/speakers available, a secondhand Project or Rega will give you decades of beautiful music.

What would be best for improving sound quality? Would i replace the entire tonearm, or the cartridge, or the needle?

Thank you because you're the best one I've seen changing needle stylus. The only thing is that sounds horrible. Awful sounding and slow like the tracking force is not correct

Hey is it just me or are the notes really distorted on that record player? Like a weird warble coming off the notes

My record player has got some cheapy stylus. I get needle chatter so loud, it's like the sound is coming through a speaker. I've ordered a diamond point stylus. Will it help reduce or even get rid of the needle chatter?

I got an old console from a buddy of mine. My needle shows s-lp on the side of the end of the arm, if that's what you want to call it. How would I remove that needle since it sits down into the console kinda deep?

hello i have a repro victrola vta 800 B 5-1 radio/record player. the radio still sounds great its only 2 years old. but i just noticed when i tried to switch it over to the turn table it turns but there is no sound only you can hear the record but its just a faint whispering sound there is nothing comming out of the speakers. i noticed that the stylist is worn down .and i wanted to know is that the reason why theres no sound it was working fine just last month.but its really frustrating.is there anyway to fix this.oh and i noticed when it was working when you switched over to turn table it would make a computerized beeping sound which i no longer hear when i switch it over.is there anyway ti fix it?thanks Richard
