Great video, This is the way I did it. Much easier than removing the seats, plastic flooring and pulling the carpet back to get access to the pump. I had my fuel tank down in 30 minutes and pump off.
Perhaps mistaken, but the fuel pump is accessible without removing tank on all Ody's I've worked on: (01, 03, 05, 10 -- and I think my '15). It's accessible under the middle rear seat carpet. And if it were me and I was doing this, I'd just replace the whole pump assembly including filter since you are there. Curious why to remove tank - that may be manual request, but Honda left an access with an access panel in all I've seen.
Yes.. the low end 2015 odyssey is accessible inside but you need to remove the one side seat assembly, and the hi end full option odyssey you nid to push backward the all seat.. low end & hi end odyssey 2015 are different interior seat inside.. ;)
I was wondering why he did took the tank out to. I have an 2006 Ody and was wondering is there an inline filter. Somewhere and one in the tank on the pump to? I’m getting code PO171 a lean code and van has 212k on it and runs great so don’t know if previous owner replaced fuel filters. I saw my year has a trans filter on the driver side of the motor that they say is a lifetime filter but saw video showing one falling apart so going to change it right away. Should I use the Honda trans fluid or could I use a say synthetic one that might help the trans live longer since it was I know rebuilt once?
@@kitlacaden so this one has it in the tank I'm assuming couldn't just be under nearghe wheel like most lol. Thank you I was afraid of that. Butthats all I kept finding was the fuel pump location. So I'd assume that's where I'd change the filter. If I do it, I'll probably get gas all inside the SUV lol
