Great Video! My CE0523 Case with the HU83 Blade arrived today! Just came back from the key shop to cut the blade. Everything worked fine! Took me 1 hour including cutting the blade at the key shop! This video is highly recommended!

thanks for the video. you can also change the lamine of the key, and you don't have to go to the key house. you with a very thin key can go in the carnation that holds the lamine and with way go pushing the carnation, then the lamina sái, and just put the old one, manage to change well, if it is a little stronger with a very thin file, just take a walk until you are well, I hope I have helped

Great video. Any chance you could do one on pairing a new key with your car. My keyfob has the battery contacts broken so need a new electronics board and thus transponder. Would love to see how it’s done before getting all the bits and pieces like diag box etc.

Hi! Yes, you can pair a new key that has new electronics with your car on a Peugeot dealer. You can do this at home using Diagbox but you need a card with a security PIN code for your car, if you do not have that card with PIN I think you can get it from the dealer. Thanks!

Hi. I don't have a key blade engraving machine. I went to the key store and there he made a copy of the original blade. Hi Adrian, doesn't the 0523 key (Peugeot 308 model 2013) come with a rfid chip mulded in the key case plastic, so the car won't start without the original key case?

Excellent video, do you had any issue with the buttons? (Lock/unlock) or they work fine? Also a small tip, you can change the blade directly, it is hold in place by a small pin, needs quite patience...

Hello. I had no problem with the buttons, it works very well. I couldn't take the blade from the old key because that bolt is placed differently on the new key blade.

Hi! If the old key case is the same as mine then you have to buy from my links. Check the key blade type and key type (CE0536 or CE0523).

Nu te inseli, am si eu vitiligo. La mine este o "mostenire" de familie, a avut bunica mea, are tatal meu, si dupa cum se vede am si eu. Nu ma deranjeaza cu absolut nimic, imi desfasor viata normal :). Am grija sa ma fersec de expunerea excesiva la soare. Sper sa nu te stresezi prea tare pe acest subiect, bucura-te de ceea ce este in jurul tau, vitiligo nu te va impiedica sa ai o vitata absolut normala :)

Hi Adrian! Thank you for this and all your other informative videos. I've ordered the new key case for my 207, expecting it to arrive soon. :) I wanted to ask you about one thing I'd heard related to the battery and electronic board removal during installation. I heard that there is a certain amount of time within which you can keep the battery and electronic board apart (something like 30 seconds) and that if you go beyond this time, the key will not work anymore. Do you know anything about this and did you have to adhere to this time limit when assembling the new key case? It would be good to know, the last thing I want is for the key to not work anymore. Thank you very much in advance! :)

Hello. This is the first time I've heard of such a problem. However, to be pessimistic, it would be good to try not to keep the electronic board without a battery for too long. I can say that I left about 5 minutes without the battery and it works perfectly, without problems.

@@AdrianDragan aww man thanks pal ;) nice 1 mines fits like a glove but the 1 I got for the Mrs 207 CEO 536 did not want to go in the new case lol I will file the very edge were it's light green and has no circuit running on the board :) edit: had to add they key cutter guy punched a hole right through my Hu83 blade :p waiting on a replacement as we speak

You can't use the blade from the old key. You do not need to use Diagbox to program it, the electronics together with the CIP are transferred from the old key to the new key.

This looks really good and easy. I have a Berlingo which has the same parts as the C4. So the key should work also. 4 Dollar for cutting the key is almost more expensive than the case itself. 😂😂 You cut the key yourself at the dealer. Is there a reason not to have it cut via internet? Any opinions on that?

Hi Adrian, i replaced the key case, but i found that the buttons doesn't fit like on the original key case. Do you have a problem when press the buttons, it doesn't work very well when i press in the middle of the button, so i need to press more to the edges?

Hello. I don't know how that programmer works, maybe it's not compatible with your car. I am thinking of trying the Peugeot 307 year 2006, 2007. The Peugeot 308 in 2008 used the same protocols as the 307 from the years mentioned above.

Hi, How do you remove the blade from the new key fob? It seems that there is no pin that holds the blade like on the old fob?

Hi. It should have a pin, it may only be visible when you open the key case.

At my new key I did not remove the blade because I cut its profile at a key workshop as you see in the clip. But I remember it was a small bolt on the side.

The buttons are made of plastic, I think they will be durable over time, the whole case is very solid.

Hello Adrian, how does the new key blade hold up? I've read somewhere online, that the blade in these keys is made of some chinesium - soft metal prone to wearing out and stopping to work and/or (in worst case) cracking (the blade allegedly cracked inside keyhole). How much did you pay for blade copy service? They asked 40€ at my place, and refused to engrave into "ebay/china sourced" key fobs. They offered whole new blade for mentioned price.

Hello. I haven't had any problems with the key blade during this time, and the case holds up well. I paid about 10 euros to a key workshop in my city to cut the blade.

Salut. In masina ai un buton pentru blocarea si deblocarea usilor, tine apasat acel buton timp de cateva secunde si functia de blocare automata a usilor se va activa sau dezactiva. Sa-mi spui daca rezolvi :)

Hi. Theoretically it is possible but you have to make the blade thinner where it enters the support. I said it was too hard and I preferred to cut the new key.

Hi, Yes it is true. But you need the security card with a PIN for your car. You should have this card or ask for it at your Peugeot dealer. I noted on the to-do list such a tutorial.

@@AdrianDragan Yeah but that card is costly to obtain. I didn't get mine when I bought the car used. 😶 I heard that there are even websites where you just input/supply your VIN code & you get in return the 4 pin digit code for free. 😇
