My gear oil leak between engine and transmission and I was asked to change the pump, they said if I change the seal it will leak again please help I am confuse
if the seal keeps failing then you need to change the seal bushing and maybe you need to make sure the torque converter neck isnt damaged or badly worn.
I had the same problem but my issue ended up being a seal from the oil pump somehow ended up on top of my torque converter so when ever I replace the seal oil leaks
check your rear main seal in the engine....right under where the flex plate is. if its transmission oil that you refer to then check your transmission solenoid gaskets!
Montero automatic 2011 po yung sasakyan namin may konting leak sa pagitan ng engine at transmission sa gitna po . Ano po yung papalitan doon torque converter oil seal po at yung rear cranckshaft oil seal po ba. Magkano po ba yung labor ng ganoon po
@@vinau2fix517 thanks. dont want to take out the trans. hopefully stop slip and trans fluid swap will solve problem. slipping from 25-50mph. 186k mile car.
@@vinau2fix517 I'm have a leak from the converter, need piping work. Wasn't sure if I wanted to pull down the transmission to replace torque converter and seal or pull out the engine. But I think I'll do what you did, and just overall the engine.
