Replace Screen on HP Laptop 15.6 inch

I set my laptop down and when I did, it closed up with my ear buds between the screen and keyboard, needless to say when I opened it back up it looked like the screen cracked. I ordered a new screen thinking how hard could this be. I found your channel and ten minutes later it was fixed. Although my laptop is NO 15.6 AY043wm it is the same configuration inside. I am a happy camper

Thanks to your video I now have the confidence to replace my screen myself. A company wanted to charge me almost $150 just to look at it for 3 weeks. I have a hp notebook laptop from 2016 and I tried to get it replaced. The place tried to charge me $475 which I thought was crazy. My display was broken and the two pieces that holds the screen and the bottom of the laptop. Only one of them were broken. But now that I see I can replace this on my own. I am very happy, thank you kind sir.

Thank you, It works now. I was near the end of my warrenty this was a lifesaver. Things went ok but it reminded me of wiring a car stereo in the dark. "My Model" of HP has the 32pin Plug on the right side and would not reach the new screen. The jack on the new screen was at a angle but the cord was short . I ended up pulling part of the Video cord out of the laptop housing so it would reach and there was struggle to get things well plugged in (stiff plug). I always seem to get the hard ones but it Does work fine and secured it well with clear tape. First boot the computer had to identify the new monitor. second boot was slow but it loaded homescreen and worked.

I can buy my replacement HP screen on eBay for 107 dollars and after watching your great video I can fix my wife's laptop, I just have one question Why are repair shops charging 300 dollars to replace this screen There's no way labor for that cost 200 dollars I'm so glad I found your video Thanks so much

I left my laptop for a millisecond to put away a cup, my little brother thought it was a good idea to take it up then he dropped it, luckily nothing broke except for a small part of the frame ( which got worse over time), thank you for this

Is this the touchscreen version ? My laptop is touch screen and it has horizontal lines and an ink patch ink the screen (the screen is completely white) . Can I use this method ? Where did you order the screen from and how much was it ?

I’m surprised you did not remove the laptop battery. But good anyway. My laptop’s screen got damaged as my brother threw a heavy stick towards me and it hit my laptop instead. It is an hp 15s. And only the screen is damaged. My laptop comes with 1 year local warranty, can it be fixed through the warranty?

I carried my laptop in backpack, when I opened there were purple lines around top of screen and what looks like cracks. Does that sound like all I need to do is replace my screen? like what you did in your video.

I took my screen off and these were the numbers on the back of the screen I took off InnoLux made in Taiwan N156BGE-EB2 03C13ZH66220217 CT-CFMZV01JV284PQ will the model number you are showing ay013nr work on my computer, is it the same/compatible. I have an HP Pavilion Entertainment laptop with a glossy screen, and all I see in it is my reflection. Is it possible to get a matt screen for it? It strikes me that PC manufacturers don't all have a screen manufacturing plant, so I;d guess that they buy screens from somebody who makes them It wouldn't surprise me if there are only a couple of screen manufacturers in the world. In that case, can I use the matt screen (same size, of course) from a different kind of laptop - or are there differences in mnufacture between laptop types?
