Great video! Very helpful. I hadn’t thought about Lowe’s special ordering them. One thing did come to mind though when you said the outer trim comes off as well. Why not separate all three pieces and paint the trim while the glass is removed. There would be no need to mask the edges of the glass.
I wanted to replace mine that shattered but the only replacement I find online is 10 x 66 but i measured mine and it is 10x70 builder original but not standard size is so frustrating. Ill try going to lowes like you and see if yhey can help idk
I don't know the answer to that. I special ordered mine from LOWES. I would think you could get just 1. Mine did not come in a set. I had to pay for 2 kits. Hope this helps. Good luck !!!!
Hmm okay, thank you! I’ll have to look again because I only see them online sold as a set with the door + full side panel that holds the sidelite window. You made it seem so easy with your instructions so I’m looking forward to replacing it on my moms house!
You will need to measure the height and width of your side glass. Go to the back of the store where the doors and windows are at LOWES. Get someone at that desk to help you. They can put an order together for you. Good luck. @@lauraholman7355
