I was having near stalls on idle with a 2016 fiesta. No error codes. Also a bit of hesitation when hitting the accelerator. I removed the negative off the battery and the hose from the throttle body, I left the throttle body attached to the engine. Used a bit of throttle body cleaner, a coarse brush and a rag to clean it up. It worked! Its running smooth.
If your having any issues with the car, this model in particular and the transmission light comes on and off and you have reduced power etc it’s going to be most likely the throttle pedal sensor which comes attached to the pedal or your throttle body, i suggest changing both parts, cleaning the throttle body doesn’t work all the time, trust me I’ve been there! Hope this helps.

Where error were you getting? I'm getting throttle sensor error and check engine and engine malfunction light come on, sometimes one light sometime both. I bought a new gas peddle, but I'm thinking it may be what you just did. Ford wanted $700.00 to replaced the pedal. 2 nuts hold it in place.
Hey bro do you think removing the throttle body on the fiesta will give me access to dps transmission vent hole? The screw on my transmission was stripped by previous owner. And help is appreciated. Great video.

@@joshuastewart6865 thank you yeah someplace is telling me that they are going to charge me lil over$500.00 to do all another says around $250.00 but I am going to have to have it towed to the dealership after wards to get reprogrammed and I see you and others taking off replaceing it after a replacement of it and to just cleaning it without discussing anything else about it needing to be reprogrammed at all u made it look so easy I commend you for this video as it's showing us that we can do it ourselves well it it's together now as u displayed it here and Ill go over it once I get the throttle body and I need sensors as well it is going to need a lot more but I have a stick and my gears are not responding well with the acceleration in 2, third and first won't go in easy but that might be something else u think but code comes up for this throttle to be looked at I appreciate you and your reply so much as I wasn't sure if I was going to hear from you this soon but I am glad 🙏 thAnk you Sir, have a great God day and evening 🙏
