Just wanted to say thanks for the video, I love the Dewalt 60v timmer, never looked back at gas after running them for years. Don't love the runtime of the batteries but one thing I've found is to just use the cheap 1ah or 2ah Dewalt chargers, batts last way longer. Cheers

Are the Simple Plus batteries still working well after these last few months? Still holding up their charge?

Still holding charge but I’ve definitely noticed they’re not as strong when the charge gets low … which is weird for a lithium battery (usually they’re all or nothing). But it’s still working fine. For half the cost for about 85% of a battery, I’d say it still a good buy.

It pretty close to the stock Dewalt battery. Some people have commented that they don’t last as long but as a diyer I don’t notice a difference around the house.

Does not work on chainsaw on 11 inch log...stalls right away! the cells inside have a different disscharge rate...if you change them for vtc6 than works...in dewalt flexvolt 21700 cells not 18650!

THIS BRAND OF BATTERY WAS UNPLUGGED ON THE FLOORBOARD OF OUR TRUCK AND IT EXPLODED AND CAUSED A FIRE INSIDE THE TRUCK?? DO NOT BUY THIS BRAND OF BATTERY!! RETURN THE ONES YOU HAVE IF YOU BOUGHT ALREADY!!

@@FamilyDIYtv The run time was horrible. We use the 60V battery's on the DeWalt angle grinder. I have three in my shop and they are run hard.

1. Only a non-smart person will buy 1 (one) dewalt battery at retail price. So many ways to get it for way less than retail. 2. I will never recommend buying a non-oem battery of any sort. They have all been junk at my employment. 3. The knockoffs lie about the ah, this has been proven everytime here on RU-vid by others. Once I opened a 5000mah battery bank, it had 1(one) 2500mah battery inside. That simplefake battery is probably a 6ah. 2(two) dewalt 6ah flexvolt batteries sell on Amazon for just over $200 all day. That makes the fake only 15% ish cheaper than dewalt. Not 1/3. So yea, dont be fooled. Buy OEM at non retail price.
