Bought this battery last year to replace the four 12 volt 8A4D AGM batteries and installed this single 48 volt Allied Lithium in my sailboat which I converted to electric propulsion in 2008. Has been working great so far. Thanks for taking a look inside and doing the tests in you review.
Just out of curiosity, what makes this battery suitable only for a cart and not be able to be used as a server like battery along with an inverter etc? Great video as always. 👍
@@Roll2Videos Thanks.. I saw that page, but it is still not a definitive dealer to call. I saw your review on the Vatrer. Which one do you think is better? Vatrer makes it easy selling on Amazon.
@@RCTVAccount Vatrer is good, My all time recommendation is the Epoch batteries www.epochbatteries.com/products/48v-30ah-gc2-golf-cart-lifepo4-lithium-battery?rfsn=7083713.4f6bf4
Do you know if the additional active balancer only kicks in at a higher voltage? Having it on at a 'lower' voltage (under 54.4 volts) will actually pt de pack cells out of balance.
Our research and development shows that permitting the balancer to operate at lower voltages proves advantageous in maintaining pack balance throughout the charge and discharge phases. This approach ensures that the pack retains balance regardless of its state of charge.
