Hi guys! Just a quick update. The LG had a bit of an airflow problem and frosting at the freezer. LG had to replace the freezer’s back panel with a new one with a heater installed. Now the ref works fine! Finally done with my ref struggles haha.
Hala! Napansin ko medyo nagfofrost din yung freezer namin. Tska yung ilalim ng mga glass shelf at yung shelves sa pinto, tho manipis lang. Yung sa vent medyo nangki crystalize din, again super konti lang naman. Btw 5days palang yung ref samin today. Di pa ko nagso store ng mga pangkain kasi inoobserbahan ko pa. Normal po kaya to? Set sa -22 yung freezer and 6 yung sa fridge.
Pareho tayo ng options ng ref. Yang dalawa rin! Pero napili ko na yung LG (medyo nagsisi ako kasi gusto ko talaga yun) Tas napanuod ko ‘to 😅 yehey. Hahaha

I'm about to buy Samsung in about 2 weeks now but I have second thoughts after seeing this. I know if could just be one of those faulty items but just can't help but think twice. Although my next choice is either LG or Panasonic. Thanks for this review.
Ur lucky u got ur replacement.. Kudos to Samsung for fast after sales service. Walang patumpik-tumpik palit agad since under 7 days replacement policy. Whereas mine (just to share) bought 2 door side by side Whirlpool, on the 4th day tinawag ko na sa Exatech (distributor of Whirlpool Phil) ask for replacement since under 7days replacement policy. Instead they sent a technician and said papalitan ung mother board. D nila pinalitan ng brand new at mabait ako kc maniniwala ako magagawa pa. To make story short 11mos na saken ung ref, 3x na may pinalitan na piyesa. Thousand worth of food got spoiled, and yet Exatech blamed me bcoz i choose Whirlpool :( until as of this writing ako nagpapakahirap magbayad sa credit card ko sa bulok na ref na bili ko!
Oh no im sorry to hear about your experience. Hirap pala, iniisip kasi natin sa panahon now, ang appliance as common as ref siguro naman naperfect na nila. Di parin pala. Hmm i guess it all comes down to choosing a brand/store with good after-sales support. Hopefully next time this doesn’t happen to you.
Report to DTI. Papalitan nila agad yan. We dont deserve defective products when we paid them in full with our hard earned money. Im having trouble with my LG ref. Purchased it 2018, had it replaced last month lang (nilaban ko talaga), and now yung ipinalit nila may ice build up pa din. Scheduled for replacement again.
I made a comment here that i had to have the back panel of the freezer replaced to have a heater to avoid frost buildup in the coils. It was free. And the ref has been working perfectly since. :)
in 10 years, my side to side LG refrigerator, 1) A temperature sensor failed 2) Freezer cracked at the internal middle 3) Sealer failed. Door can’t be closed firmly. Will not buy this brand again even if it’s for free.
