If you take the screw out. There a black nut with ridges. If you turn that around. It will go back to clicking for you. You must’ve put it in backwards
Does your lever have a little wiggle in it even when tight? I when I close it, and and then move it down a notch, i don’t immediately feel the pressure before the click. It just seems to have a gap before pressure is felt. I hope that make sense.
I would recommend buy something else besides those two! I’ve had bad experiences with JRL’s and I’ve had co workers have bad experiences with legends as well!(breakage on the Legend)
I bought two of the 2020c in May of 2021. I haven’t gotten my hands on the Gold version of them so I don’t know if they already come with the metal piece.
