Excellent video! This same switch works for me or is it compatible for KIA Picanto Ion 2017? While the new switch arrives, can I rave with a traditional or switchable switch? I am checking and I see that it is a micro switch that opens and closes a circuit, it is not resistive. Thank you very much for your comment.

Hi Jose, Because I purchased the wrong end of the switch. I purchased the male port instead of the female port that's why I cut and connect to the old one. If you purchased the right port, no need to cut the wires. :)
@@mdabdulmoiz do you solved it? I changed the switch and the tailgate lock, but with the central locking it did not close or open the tailgate.... Dont know what it can be
I ordered this trunk release switch from Boodmo, I replaced button in my grand i10. Button is working fine, when I"m holding car's remote key near to it and pressing this trunk switch. But If I'm standing at some distance from car and trying to unlock trunk of my car, from car's remote by pressing & holding button on remote, then car's blinkers is blinking but trunk is not opening. Anyone has any idea, why its not working from remote key button? but working when key is near to trunk switch and then pressing this trunk switch.
Hi, i have a 2012 elantra, the trunk switch is working but when you press it from outside it couldnt open. i can only open the trunk from the inside using the lifter or using the key fob. can you help me on how i can open using the trunk switch from behind the trunk

Same switch problem face to me..i Repair this switch only Indian Rs 45 and my problem solved..not required new switch. Save many Rs just repair it..repair karalo ho jayegi bhai 45 rs me mera kaam ho gaya
@@TechJuliohelllo sir. Am using asta i10 2019 model... The issue is, Dicky is opening, as well closing, but it's not locking... Always accessible (even if I try with my remote key)
