When replacing computers, there are a couple of things to consider. At a minimum, a clear list of what data and settings need to be moved to the new computer. Then consider if that computer is going to be re-deployed to someone else. If not, and it's end-of-life or quite old, there are specific considerations for the hard drive, then it's time to recycle.
