Replacing two broken hinges on Beats Solo3
To do this repair, you will need the following tools
1/ a few of small screw drivers to use as pry tool and Phillip head to remove screws
2/ magnifying lamp so you can see what you are doing when removing micro connectors
3/ soldering tools
4/ protective tape to re secure the fine wires back in place
5/ crazy glue to glue the metal pin on the metal band
6/ small point tweezers to install small metal pin on metal band at the hinge
About 1.5 hr to do this job. I think you need to think twice before trying to do this job. High risk of damage connectors and wires . I was regretting doing this repair once I had taken it apart.
Replacement parts can be found on Amazon. Make sure it is for correct Beats Model. I have Beats Solo3
