I've got a 95 f-250 7.3 , and I'm getting ready to do my injector 0 rings, your video was perfect in referencing the oil rail drain plug under the valve cover , and valve cover clearance on the passenger side 👍, it's the first video that I've seen address this issue , and the first video I've seen that isn't on a 2000 or newer truck 👍.
jeffrey jones whenever you pull the injectors out, the oil from the rail will drain into the cylinders and cause you problems when you crank it. If you drain it out it will help prevent that.
@@jeffreyjones2832 pull the rad and fan, stand in the rad support and pull the covers and injectors out, makes hell of a difference. remove the hex plug in the head under the valve covers off then start pulling the injectors. pull em all out then turn the motor over with a ratchet on the harmonic balancer itll shoot the oil out the cyl. and you shouldnt have any hydrolocking issues
