The first time you rip a dry suit gasket it really feels like the end of the world 😆 nice clear instructions, replacing a gasket is a lot easier than most would think!
Hi starke6666, You can mix the aquaseal with Cotol 240, an accelerant. Check out the details here for more info: www.apsltd.com/aps-advisor/replace-latex-wrist-bootie-seals-dry-suit/ Thanks for watching!
ah yes, I'll just grab my Collapsible Form... everyone has one of these lying around, right? *HERE'S A REAL TIP* (especially if you have a valve on the arm so a bottle can'T be inserted and extricated from the inside) Use a severed roll of Duct Tape It can be adapted to just the right size by adding or removing tape, then make one cut right through it before inserting, so that at the end it can be collapsed and removed. Perfect ! But that said, if you live near this guy (and it'd be hard to find a nicer chap), or someone similarly skilled - just take it to them and pay!...... the result will right first time, much more hardy, and so ultimately cheaper, as well as safer and a lot less hassle.
That doesn't sound any easier, and paying someone else to do it is somewhat counter to the whole point of the video. You can use things like pop bottles, coffee cans, sports balls, etc. Lots of things around the house that don't involve wrecking one's duct tape.
@@andymason2 Nah, I find the severed duct tape roll much easier - for the sake of 5 quid. It's great the way it can be collapsed so easily remove. Love it !
