I just changed my radiator using this video. It was one of the easiest videos I ever done for a repair on my car. It was super easy. It probably took me maybe less than an hour to do. Thanks very much for the step-by-step video. It save me over $200 having a mechanic to do it.

This one is the best video on how to change your radiator for a Nissan Rogue 👌👍

Thanks for the video, I will have to do this job on my wife's car this afternoon. It is also worth mentioning that you should change you radiator support bushings(the 2 rubber pieces that sits on top of the radiator) periodically as that is the reason why most of these radiator have leaks because the rubber bushing allows to much movement and it causes the radiator to rock back and forth banging against the frame. The bushings need to be changed on this car as it still has a lot of movement and will ultimately cause the radiator to fail again. It is not the great of a design, but by changing the bushing you could spend $5 versus over $150.

Thank you thank you thank you! My radiator was shooting coolant everywhere. I didn't want to pay an arm and a leg for a simple replacement. Thanks to this very straightforward video I was able to not only replace my radiator but flush my coolant.. Thank you again 1000x!

That's what I'm here for too! What a life saver this video is. I'm an aircraft mechanic, not an auto mechanic (they're not the same!) So this video really came in handy.

On later model cars, Nissan also fitted a small CVT transmission radiator to the front of the standard radiator.

never left a comment on anything before, but this was super helpful and coz it looked relatively straight forward i went ahead and replaced my first radiator!!! many thanks for the details... i gotta agree with Kurt K... check the radiator support bushings... likely the reason my radiator had a leak in the first place since when those crack/break, the radiator gets jostled around quite a bit. cheers!

Shoulda used a funnel to add coolant. I dont see how you could spot a leak with the amount u spilled everywhere. But good video fella.

Depending on what the reason for the repair, and if it's time for that maintenance. But it does not hurt to change it if you are there.

Thanks for the video. I'm wondering if I may need to get a new radiator soon. I just did a coolant drain and fill on my radiator and when I screwed the stupid plastic drain plug back in, it just kept turning and never got tight. It also will not unscrew now either. Luckily it seems to be holding the coolant, but I don't know if it will last.

@@vicc3337 too late. Months later, the plug gave way and the car lost it's coolant. It overheated and the engine was ruined! My wife now drives a 2020 SantaFe, and she has a greater awareness of the temperature gage on the dash.

Hi, really informative video, do you happen to know what the name of the part that’s located right in front (bottom corner) of the radiator called? I have a 2011 rouge and found something leaking out of the hose thats connected to what looks like a smaller version of the radiator but in front of the official radiator?
@matthewnaylor5894
@matthewnaylor5894 4 года назад
Sounds like you have a leak in the condenser for the air conditioner.
