Were the treads & risers rebated into the stringers? Is that what prevented them from being saved and reused?

Great job! Initially my stairs were carpeted. When I removed that, the treads are 2x10's. How did you get your reciprocating saw to go through that like butter?

How much would this cost for 12-steps? Approximately….. wood plus labor?

It depends on the lots of factors, location, type of wood, how much time it takes. I think I did this one for $1,200
