In this video, I demonstrate the steps required to replace the rear bumper on my Dodge Ram 1500 truck. In this case, I replaced the bumper with an aftermarket bumper that I purchased from RockAuto.com. The replacement bumper was coated only in a primer, and I applied a black roll-on bedliner produced by a company called Monstaliner to the bumper before installing it on my truck. Thanks Alan, I'm glad you found this helpful! I don't remember the exact cost, but I think I paid around $100 for the primed bumper (not including shipping). The Monstaliner paint and supplies that I used to coat the bumper cost about $200, so I could have definitely gotten an aftermarket chrome bumper for less money, but I wanted to coat the bumper with something that would hold up longer than the chrome. I think this will do the trick. Thanks a lot for watching!

I'm ordering the black bumper. Every part including the bumper, bolts n brackets. Are going to get Galvanized. Then cover with a 20 year guaranteed sets of other coats. It'll out last the truck for sure

Matt please help! I’m trying to replace my coolant thermostat. Please share which way you turn the flare nut under EGR standing at the driver side tire. I’m planning to buy a flare ranch to be safe. It’s so stiff I’m concern if I’m turning it the right way. I have a 02 Passport. Thank you!

Matt - what size nuts (length and diameter) did you buy to replace the T45's? I had grind off mine. also: should I grease or lubricate the bolt threads prior to install? and finally: have you found a good product to clean and treat the old step pads? Thanks!
