We traveled from the USA to Innsbruck , Austria. We made it today on the last day of the competition and arrived at 7pm at night we sadly missed it... We still got to see the course. Man fedko was so close to 3rd and I feel like Emil would of had it if he could of done the 2nd lap. Max stomped it tho, after that injury is so good to see him ride hard.
Congratulations Robin and Dawid! Erik Fedko’s link on the hips in the first run was definitly the best tricks in the contest. Even with the mistakes in that run i thought it was the best so far in the contest. Emil did a good run but he seems a little less determined than before when already 1/3 in of the course it was obvious hes going to win.
the 1st that he repeated in the 2nd run was an opposite whip to whip with a 360, usually they do regular whip to oppo downside whip. It's the 1st time i see it
Ok sorry but how in the redbull cirklejrk did Emil's run score that high with a straight 3 and obviously missed combo on the oppo 3 whip. He was even visibly disappointed himself lol. RB needs to stop looking at their papers and watch the runs, it had crazy tech but no way a stomped 1st place run. I'm even swedish and should be pumped but naaah bois, rather see the right guys get proper scores.
I was cracking up when the announcer said that they will dock you points for repeating tricks (in the background there was a small city being powered by Emil-whips).

I'm wondering the same thing too. Bummed we don't get to see her every time. If she puts down one of her runs she'll take 1st place every time for sure. Way above all the other female riders at the moment. I'm pretty sure she was sick for Rotorua but she's been practicing with the others and such so I'm not too sure why she isn't competing and slaying the competition right now
Once again massive shout out to the women making history every time they ride highlight was Lisa Maria Blanc Unintentionally doing a Johnny Heaton to save her run😂 in the men’s wow top 5 all in the 90s after 1st runs The level of these riders now is just insane Plus so nice to see Alex Back competing The highlight. for me though was Eric fedko double windshield wiper on hips WTF
Judges need to be put through a food processor... Fedko for president... Emils run did not impress me.... he needs to concentrate on smashing Sigrid... Dude has a good chance...
Really think the judging criteria should prioritize variety over everything else. The same tricks in opposite directions is not special anymore. Riders evolve, so should judging.
1:13:14 That's because it's a flip 3. A cork 7 is what haps when a flip 3 is done wrong, which is how most riders do them, so much so that even Cam doesn't know WTF he's looking at. 2 of the best executed flip 3s ever & he did them both ways. Well done Tom. 🤘
R1 Chris Moore was NOT "Flawless Flawless top to bottom!!" He totally cased the last landing. 93 Yeah right dude!! ....it was good but didnt have all the difficult tricks Rogatkin did R1, AT ALL. On all the other times when people case a landing...its big points off. What the !?
I was surprised how low their level is, compared to men. I wonder if it is the matter of raw muscle power, or just guts? Actually I visited the Innsbruck course last summer (just walking trough), and yes the jumps are huge, but I mean once you have the speed to dead-sailor the jumps, what makes men to do all these tricks and women less so?
@@nikonyrh Maybe check out the very first Men Slopestyle Competitions and you'll see a similar picture. Less tricks, less risk, less guts. It's only just the beginning for Crankworx Women Slopestyle. I bet, that already by next year their skill set and the overall competition of the women's rider field will have improved tremendously. Yes, there is a difference in the physique of their bodies compared to men, which will probably have effects on their riding (also maybe for the better, who knows?) and how far they'll be able to push the boundaries, but I think it's awesome, that women finally get their own competition and recognition. Comparing it to almost 20 years of experience of men's slopestyle just isn't fair at all.
Same every single comp the judges just brown nosing Emil Johan’s on that first run was 100000000% worth 5th 6th never in a million years was that a 95.25 getting him at 1st place absolutely awful judging once again
Red Bull event have several things in common. Questionable judging. Horrible camera angles and cutaways, they constantly switch cameras mid trick. And usually Mccall being way over the top goofy, but luckily not this time, he was tolerable.
I guess everything has to start somewhere, but as of now female slopestyle is an insult to womens sports and it's painful and cruel to expose this right beside the mens competition.
Really? Lol honestly I thought they did pretty good. Obviously can't compare male vs female but comparing the female to other female riders, they're elite.
@@jstates5266 The female class of this sport looks to me like basically cycling downhill without falling over. I don't think I have ever seen a bigger difference, in any sport, between male and female performance…
What you have just said is an insult to women and women’s sports. Instead of being a negative drip, support them, cheer them and watch them. Thats how it grows.
Guys slow down it's literally just starting it takes time until a new culture takes place and more girls start to get interested and start training focused specifically in this modality, then eventually the new generation comes in trying even more things than the previous did and hanging out with the boys in training facilities more often and calling slopestyle home and this kinda move takes years and years to happen there's also the opportunities side of things there are many girls out there that can trick like freaks but the majority of them will never step in the soil of a competition bc of simple lack of opportunities and for that to change it also takes time
I have just returned to our vacation apartment after watching the event live in Mutters. The height of those jumps is insane when you stand beside them. I have all the respect in the world for everybody that is brave enough to jump all those tricks. Besides the ladies, especially Robin, were really nice to my son.
