On this episode of Replay join Andrew Reiner, Daniel Tack, Ben Hanson, and Jeff Cork as they play Eggs of Steel, a bizarre early title for the Playstation 1.
Honestly, these FMVs doesnt look half bad for it's time. Maybe not to an Oddworld level of quality. But the models and environments doesn't look that bad for a game like this.
This past few weeks has been non stop picking on Dan, they try and try and he just doesn't crack, they gave it their all on that FF replay and started echoing each other nonstop hoping that it would happen and still nothing, like a fucking Wall. Based Dan.
He's the straight man, the others are Supercalifragilisticexpiali-wacky! Featuring: Ben Hanson! The whimsical weirdo! Uncle Goofy Reiner! He's so goofy and silly! And Special Guest Appearance by Jeff "Corky" Cork! The #1 Cynical Bearded Lumberjack known for his famous "Wade, turn down that mic!" Catchphrase!
Although this cracked me up, don't be so harsh & see the sunny side. I'm sure the developers aren't talent-less, they just had to scramble to meet the release deadline
I think I've mentioned Eggs of Steel a few times on other Replay videos. I was starting to feel like I had made up the game in my head. My dad definitely got annoyed that I kept asking him to rent it back in the day.
Hanson, this isn't the only game where you're not sure if you're playing or in a menu. Remember that horrible Austin Powers game for the GBA that was featured in a Roulette not long ago? It was all menus.
Pickled eggs, and pickling in general, is extremely underrated. It gives an added dimension of flavor, like adding spice, to food. Also, that 2nd game reminds me of Martian Gothic having to constantly juggle an overflowing and obtuse inventory to progress with many health taxes cheap deaths.
So Dizzy is a fuckin great game m8 but I've never seen the NES version and holy hell did anybody else lose their fucking mind at the animation of that scroll unraveling?! That might be the greatest technological achievement I've ever seen in an NES title.
Fight Club was the first DVD I bought, on my shiny new Player. I had to unhook it to plug in my PS1 so I could play Tony Hawk 2 (maybe, but definitely 1, of them)
You guys should do a replay of Pac-Man 2: The New Adventures. It's on the SNES and Genesis and boy is it weird. It's a point and click game where puzzles center around changing Pac-Man's mood by interacting with the environment via his slingshot. It's pretty funny and odd.
