Not really. On many countries prefere the classic 10+ points from 2 level. In fact we learn some flexible systems like lebensohl, or easy to comfuzed like burgen. Paradox we play an very deference system from double color hand (cui bid 2nt and 3c) i still prefer cui bid from high 2nt from low and 3c from top-down I mean is not as all countries USA and is not easiest system 2 over 1. But I still agree with you should rearn one system from start and no change it all time. But when allmost in your country near no one play 2 over 1...
