wow thank you for showing this. i have been wanting to build one of these for a long time but didnt think a muzzle loader would be quite as cool....THANK YOU for proving me wrong! thanks for the inspiration
Smooth bores are underrated. When compared to a rifled counterpart, they are less accurate but at closer ranges, they can be very consistent. There are some well known gun historians that give them a bad rap.
Pelo Loco you do, part of tank warfare is precision aiming at weak points of tank. It’s just that tanks get accurate fire from other means such as sabot rounds
As someone who has been studying warfare history for years, I must say the model is accurate to the real life thing, and is still powerful at the same time. The perfect balance!
Great little artillery piece! Very well built and it looks super. Love the camo paint job. I'm wondering at how far it blew the round when you elevated the barrel? Good build man!
That is a very cool cannon I like the recoil absorption that looks really cool when it goes off when I first saw the picture of it I thought it was a breechloader that would even be cooler but that’s a cool little cannon I really like it.
@@lamborghinimiurap4005 That'd probably classify as a real howitzer and thus be probably illegal to own (depending on where he lives) and definitely illegal to manufacture on your own. As long as it's shooting ball and shot instead of shells it's a toy.
You could put in a super hot load. Followed by $100 of Chinese sockets and you will be pirates of the Caribbean in real life. Anything in front of that would be very sorry.
Please tell me you have a website. This is amazing work you do and if I had money I'd buy one of your pieces. Just wow. Also wondered since I started binge watching your vids.....what ever happens to the projectiles?
Two things I don't understand. 1. These are clearly well made breech-loaders, so why not use a self-contained centrefire cartridge? 2. If you want to stick to a breech-loading black-powder gun, why load the projectile and powder separately? Why not have an old style paper cartridge?
Nice, but it would have been easier to chamber it for a round that resembles the actual grenade it fires in scale. Now it’s a muzzle loader which is silly.
And following your suggestion would be a great way to get a 10 year prison sentence. That’s why it’s a silly muzzle loader so I or the owner would not have to worry about a visit from the ATF.
Where’s the Collimator, aiming posts and safety circle.. oh my bad. You red legs will know what I’m talking. Shot rounds complete end of mission, march order!
It would be neat if you could fire a lofting trajectory that would a puff of smoke when it hit the ground. Just dreaming, probably not reasonable to do.
