I remember that well, I was a single lady in SJ and was so happy my 750 sf 1bed was only 1200, that same apartment is mot 3000, crazy!

EASY SOLUTION FOR RENTERS. MOVE OUT OF CALIFORNIA. There’s plenty of work in other states especially around big cities and are always eager in hiring out of state new workers. Better yet if you work for big company/organization you can always ask for a JOB TRANSFER if you do decide to move out of state.

Look for employment out of state. Save up at your current job. Find/hired employment in a different state and BOOM move out of California.

in SF you cant even find a decent and legal 1BD for $3000. anything less are either shithole area or illegal unit and you need to pay cash money

If cost are just gonna go up in cali, then it just gonna drive some or many to move out of state. we know all states have their hassles, but still may cost way less to live outside of cali unless some are rising cause traffic moving to other places causing cost to go up higher any.

Not even 900 my mom was here in the 90s and up too 08 my mom was paying 700 for a 2 bedroom. A 1 bedroom was 400

@@watchmeasifly lol Newsoms administration HASNT been doing Jack for homelessness or low income projects. They put less than 2bill towards this and they have WAY more funding to put towards these projects. The issue is they are letting these illegal immigrants come in and get top of the list of American born citizens. My solution is if they keep letting them in, why not make apartments specifically for them and leave the others specifically for American born citizens so everyone has a chance at affordable housing??

It’s disgusting that nobody seems to care and it rises every year too!! It’s nearly impossible for grown people to live alone. What does this have to do with Newsom ? Don’t think he is to blame.
