From CA here. Apparatus are just so interesting in other places of the country. Powercall siren + Q, that's how you know you're in the midwest or east coast.
Nice video. Remember move the camera in baby steps,no matter what kind of incident, hold your shots for 8-10 seconds,we never walk and film. Stop take a breath and you will see the difference. Just some friendly advice.
Whole lotta response from different houses for a plane in the woods units going all over no staging set up no fire ground attempt looks like a major cluster flop to me but I believe from the radio traffic I was hearing there's a possibly of several incidents going on at once but pretty much a cluster
@@fmartinjr Ahh okay, thanks for reply, really interesting. This call reminds me of a aircraft down that my fire company did a while back in Orange County, NY it was on Thanksgiving morning like 2-3am and was cold, aircraft crashed in a state forest and literally in the middle of a small hill in a middle of a swampy area, it took many hours locating the 3 victims 2 who survived and 1 who was deceased. Actually some of the Christiana FD members would remember this like Bob Pressler, his son, the Hank brothers who were all there at that call with there NY departments. A huge multi agency response such as this one. Keep up the great videos.
This looks to me like a staged code 3 response drill of a disaster with multiple box company's state and local response nicely done once staging and operations was set up
It sucks that it was DOA. We had a DOA suicide attempt. Charcoal suicide. Chiefs canceled everyone because it was DOA. What they do is they light a charcoal grill in the back of their car and die from asphyxiation.
I know of a friend who did this at his home, once it was realized he was suicidal he told someone in a text, it was an oh shit moment, ems was dispatched and they were first to find him once it was reported he was suicidal, they breached the home and got him but it was too late, they spent from arrival to the hospital doing CPR and at the hospital the doctors tried for an hour before they called it. This was the best Christmas present ever of 2017(sarcasm)
Ok.. I don't know what the hell kind of logic that you're supposed to be illustrating but, stop. Unless you were involved in the process.. back up. And if you weren't on any of the departmental agencies that put forth in this operation.. just watch the video and keep the stupid talk to yourself. The companies at hand brought utility pick ups and tractor-drawn vehicles for a purpose. Stop being the typical ,American- Know it all. Seems .. seems ..seems.
Airplane fuel and jet fuel burn much hotter than auto gasoline, so you have exposure risk to the area surrounding the crash site. There is usually no idea how many passengers are aboard the aircraft immediately, so you have the potential for a large rescue operation. If the damage is severe, you can't know what type of extrication gear that you will need.
Damn this guy is fucking Rude as hell to his Followers for no fucking reason. Idk if this guy is a wannabe fireman or what but I would like to apologize to everyone for this guys unprofessionalism As a Lieutenant in the Fire Service I can assure you most Fireman or people associated with the FD dont act like this.
Great job on recording the response... one observation, and this is NOT critical of the video because you are behind the camera and not driving to the scene -- but at 4:56, that Jeep like vehicle equipped with a few lights (which is fine) needs to learn when to use the siren as well. You don't have to have it on the entire time by any means BUT when he/she is approaching Market Street AND HAS A RED LIGHT and expects the cross traffic to yield to an unmarked SILENT Jeep with a few Christmas lights on it, is asking for a bad accident. That's what sirens are for - let that cross traffic hear you coming, then make sure they yield before blowing through an intersection like that. Again, just an observation and nothing you guys don't already know, I'm sure.
@@fmartinjr Thanks. I'll remember to treat green lights like STOP signs when I'm driving in Delaware... just in case a traffic control vehicle wants to T-Bone me. Have a good night.
And* ,not an* my last. You had to comment that it's your first and last time here for what? Who really cares! You and whomever else that doesn't like what I say,said.. goodbye! I didn't invite you here. Watch the video and keep it moving.
@@cat740dt thank you. I mean, I'm here to smash people , but I'll be damned if these punks are going to just say anything that they want to me. Nah, not happening. People can ask whatever they want, just not no silly, stupid questions.
@@roninhcfb5501 thank you. I think it's a short bus convoy that visits my channel from time to time. My thing is... just don't say no weird or smart stuff to me and we're kool. As you obviously noticed,I never started with any of those weirdos. But I will finish!
