Hello kuya AC, I think it’s much better to use ate Yuki’s surname in my opinion and in my experience living here in Japan for a long time. 1. There is a chance that your future son/daughter may choose to stay in Japan rather than the Philippines. (Also, your child will have to choose either Filipino or Japanese citizenship until the age of 22 since Japan does not allow dual citizenship) 2. In my experience having a full Japanese name is much easier/smoother to get a full time employment here in Japan. (When they see your name foreign or in Katakana on the resume, usually Japanese human resource will question his/her Japanese skill and ethnic background will be questioned during work interviews. 3. Your child can avoid ethnical background racism when growing up. (As a Filipino born child migrated to Japan during grade 6 elementary, I was constantly targeted for bullying due to my ethnic background. For example calling me names, telling me to go back to my hometown and assuming I ate a lot of bananas since Philippines is well known for importing banana to Japan. 4. Your child can avoid annoying constant questions from random Japanese people like where are you from, what ethnicity are you or telling him/her your Japanese is very good. (Japanese people are not much open minded people in my opinion.)
Racism exists sa kanila magaling lang sila magtago ng ugali.Kahit integrated kana sa culture pero pag may dugo kang iba ituri ka nilang alien katulad na mga okinawans at hokkaido discriminated parin sila pero seldomly dahil sa outside cultural influence.

Just for her to know that we also have wonderful folksongs.. Btw, there are so many public surveys in the Philippines regarding to "Filipinos top Favorite or Love countries". You two are simple yet genuine people. ❤ In Philippines, there are different kinds of regions in regards of local cultures, local foods, climates, fruits, agricultural products, festivals etc. Right now, in my personal observation, there are many Foreigners like Japanese and Koreans are now living in Philippines. **In Mindanao part, most of them are in Davao (one of the safest city in the world, abundant in fruits.) **In Visayas part, mostly in Cebu Island. If it's in Negros Island, many of them are in Bacolod City or Dumaguete City. Also in ilo-ilo Island (close to Boracay Island and also Guimaras Island that is known for the home of the sweetest mango in the world according to Guinness world record). **If it's in Luzon, Metro Manila (for City Life). Baguio or Tagaytay for mild to cold weather. And other simple life provinces like Cavite, Pangasinan etc etc etc etc. 😊❤ If you two are planning to retire here in Philippines, you better invest in buying land for your future home or business. Right now, apartments and condominiums especially in Manila are rapidly increasing because of foreign tourists or migrants. It's a good thing that our Law doesn't allow any foreigners to owned a land here---it would cause a big problem for locals especially for poor or ordinary people. Now many Balikbayan or OFWs are also investing in land buying, cause every year that pass by, the price becomes higher. 😅 Although it's natural because of inflation rate each year 😅😂 but the good thing is that, you can be sure or assure your self in the future that you have a land to live to. ❤😊 And don't forget your "Pag-ibig, PhilHealth and SSS". it could help us also a little in the future especially in our retirement days here in Philippines.
