I was at USC 04-08, Coach Carroll was everything. His players would do anything for him. He walked around campus with a hoody on, smiling and nodding to any student that gave him a 'good morning coach'. He loves to motivate and get the best out of everyone from top to bottom. How did Russell get to be a QB of his former quality? No one was betting on the 5'11'' 3rd rounder, except Pete Carroll.

He was also there 2000-2004, that was when they went to SB XL. Word is they used Scots draft list for 2014. Pretty much ass after that draft wise tho.

It was a terrible call and a terrible throw. If you're going to throw that ball into the teeth of the defense it needed to be low and away so there's no chance of an interception. Also the receiver (ca t remember his name was weak on the ball which didn't help). Either way that int and loss was on both Wilson and Carroll.

He wasn't booed in Seattle for no reason. He was already a train wreck. It was just less obvious.

He has been the most picked on, targeted player I’ve ever seen. Since he came into the league, he’s been a target by people. Most of it is out of his control, people just want him to be what THEY want him to be. Pat would make fun of him in Seattle too. Even if he harms no one.
