I love seeing you having fun with your plants on RU-vid! Your joy is contagious! I could see you as a bird of paradise: tall, colourful, fills a room, needs lots of light, needs lots of water, adapted to withstand harsh winds, liked by everyone but still very special due to the beautiful flowers and impressive foliage. I would probably be a type of calathea: colourful with big leaves, comes with a tag that says easy care (lol!), cute, demanding, can be cut back to nothing and grow again, likes everything just so, is generous with her foliage under the right conditions, can adapt to change but prefers to stay put, sensitive to bright light and harsh chemicals.

My husband had to throw out his smoothie (delicious with frozen strawberries and peanut butter plant based protein powder) yesterday morning because he found perlite and charcoal bits in it just before blending. Joe must love you a lot. 🤗 Thanks for another amazing video Emma.

Congrats!! Why do people not like long form videos? TikTok and reels aren’t enough time to fully understand how to successfully learn about the plants. Also, adding in your human side makes it so much more fun. If people want fast answers, Chat GPT, even the free version, even the main free version that isn’t a bot specific to plants, has nailed the correct answer 95% of the time. Use that. Maybe it’s my ADHD, or my nerd side, but I’ve found researching my plant for even half an hour or a few long form videos as I clean etc has given me SOOO much more confidence and motivation and general knowledge on that specific plant, plants like it, as well as info I didn’t know I should know. That allows me to feel more comfortable trying different types of plants that scared me before. No idea what I’m doing with my Alocasia, but they have more than 6 leaves atm and thriving, and they’re supposedly harder for noobs like me and even for experienced people

The most overdramatic and sunloving in my collection is my home grown orange tree! She also grows spectacular spikes, fills the bathroom with citrus oil scen when she gets hott showers (to ward of pests) and revives from anything if she just gets a lot of light, water and some watching over.

The idea of the hate comments video is a hilarious concept. I thoroughly enjoy your content especially the long videos. I have hard time winding down to go to sleep so sometimes I put on videos just to help me shut down. Not that I find you boring at all. I often watch 1 video 2 or 3 times to see the whole thing through 😅. I'm attempting to absorb your knowledge while achieving REM sleep 😂 short content can be fun but I seek out the long videos 😊

I find relationships only really change more when you have kids. As you both might have different options in bringing them up. Also the hard work that is involved too. Jade plants i find they do better in terracotta pots. Since the stems are thick and can easily topple over in a nursery pot with a decorative pot outside. Unless you tend to keep them small or bonsai size.

I actually agree with others saying your like a bird of paradise. It would have to be variegated however. Your are beautiful and unique. In terms of me as a plant thats easy. A golden pothos. I have been born with a disability have been through alot of s#$% and just keep on keeping on. And im also plain and basic.

If you’re still seeking audio feedback: I do know why and appreciate the reason for the clip on mic, but for me, it’s never been my favorite. It’s so hard to describe why, but the audio always sounds so odd. It almost sounds like you’re in a box talking instead of being “present” and speaking. It just doesn’t sound as clear. I’m sure settings could change but to me yeah, that’s how it sounds and to me it’s not a good audio. But I’m weird lol.
