I had to read this book as soon as I found out about it. A perfect blend of my academic and personal interests ... unfortunately, however, this book has issues.
Written by John Lestrangevand published in 2019, Representations of Genocide in Video Games is a look at such representations across different video games, but specifically tied to the ways in which the author, himself, chose to play through these games.
Enjoy my review.
Games mentioned:
Mass Effect
Skyrim
Fallout 4
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Pillars of Eternity

Interesting topic for a book and interesting book to review, thanks! Have you heard of the podcast Game Studies Study Buddies? (Two academics review game studies books) Sounds like the topic may be up your alley so I would recommend it
