In dicots the embryo is formed by using energy from the endosperm...in monocots from where does the zygote get energy ? Endosperm ?

What is the function of suspensor cell.... And why and when endosperm degenerate ?

The function of suspensor cell is to push the embryo into the endosperm so that developing embryo gets proper nourishment..and in some seeds whole endosperm gets utilised and those types of seeds are called non endospermic seeds ..and in those seeds in which endosperm is not fully utilised by embryo is called endospermic seeds

Harpreet Singh middle cell in case of monocots and basal cell in case of dicots

In srijan isc its written that the suspensor is formed from basal.... And the middle layer gives rise to hypocotyl and radicle.... The terminal cell to cotyledons/scutellum and plumule....
