Funny thing : the reason behind the hands on the hearts of the French players during the anthem is the fact that a French humorist/impersonator during the days before match imitated the President Chirac in calling Domenech and Zidane and ask them to put their hands on their chests during the anthem in order to support Chirac because he was seriously ill at this precise moment 🤣🤣🤣

It's kind of funny how exciting everyone finds watching this back again after all these years. These qualifying campaigns were tedious as fuck. In this group there were 24 drawn games and only 15 wins between all the teams. It was shit to watch but what was at stake made it interesting I suppose.
