The town of Superior is on the way to Globe, Arizona east of Maricopa County. This town has 300 gallon containers scattered around businesses, hotels, and even parks not to mention in alleyways. Republic Services is the sole collector of this town, with the operator behind the wheel being the only driver up there four days a week regularly. The town of Superior, and Black Canyon City are the only places in AZ that have Republic picking up 300s. Outside of the state of AZ I doubt its common at all.
The unit documented is a 2004 Mack MR Heil Rapid Rail and is an Ex Paradise Waste Truck. Utilized as the spare on this day, the operator's regular unit is a Peterbilt Heil Rapid Rail. Huge thank you to the operator for making this video possible, one of the best I've met for sure!
