She has to be the sexiest, most energetic woman on the planet. Looking at her bouncing and spinning was a turn on in the 90's and still is today. Great band too!
Enjoyed this version more than the original, US, and two Tomcat versions. Something about seeing the band still bouncing makes me feel incredible from my couch.
Awesome! Great powerful song and a fantastic crowd with all ages. Great to hear and watch. At 3:05 the little rocking child on the shoulders of someone 🤘😃
The hottest girl who ever lived. She must have done this song 10,000 times, and every time she sings it, you get the vibe that it's her favorite song, playing for the first time. Her energy level is always at 100%. That is what sets her apart.
was is it about this song? It rocks and is so upbeat. what other song are like this? i saw them play another of their songs and they looked so straight faced...broke into ready to go and even though they have played it repeatedly they start to smile.
Tragic that we've all aged. Just remember Saffron as being amazingly fit, not just in Republica but more so singing Anthem for N'joi. They deserve more than this, that looks like a random gig in a supermarket car park.
she's wearing her years with pride, seems she gets right into and really enjoys herself after the first 2mins. Bet they played worse places than some dude's field 20 odd yr ago. I can only hope to be doing as bad as that by her age ;)
A few months after this they played a festival at Portsmouth in front of 90,000. What's so good about Republica is that they will play anywhere they're booked into with the same enthusiasm, whether it's 90k, or twelve blokes and a dog. 100% effort, 100% of the time. And in the smaller venues, us fans get to have a drink and a chat with them afterwards too!
I just really feel like a bass player would make this complete. Good sound, though, finally. Watched like 5 other videos where their live sound was total shit, even at their prime.
Live sound is often left to the venue's guys unfortunately. Republica bring Ben, their own sound engineer, who has a genius way to make anywhere sound good. He was in control here.
Billy The diK I did, like you I have a good ear for music, it seemed like it was stuck in the wrong key for a while. Mine sticks sometimes when I use software, a glitch.
Isn'r it wonderful how ore-recorded performances always sound great? There's no wires or cables attached to those Keyboards. This is totally fake, and the auduence is bopping up and down like morons.
The audience beg to differ. If you still bring joy to the crowd ... check out 70 something Eric Burdon performing for small gatherings. This is what a true musician does.
