Once he committed to doing the right thing, he stood and applauded when that moment came, and didn't back out like a weasel. But he has history of getting along well with others in the sandbox, because he was our governor in MA, which votes majority blue on presidents after all the independents cast their ballots, but often votes for a Republican governor. And Obamacare is a rehashed version of the healthcare system Romney established in MA.

It's a little odd to me that this report is mentioning that it took 230 years for a Black woman to be appointed to the Supreme Court, as if that fact were at all surprising. After all, it took over 100 years for a Jew to be appointed and nearly 200 years for an Italian-American to be appointed. But yes, I understand the logic behind the point. Black women were in this country practically from the very beginning - since 1619 at the latest. Still, it should be pointed out that Native Americans have been in the Western Hemisphere for many thousands of years, and we still don't have any of them on the Court (and no, Sonia Sotomayor doesn't count).

I personally find it a sad state of affairs that we teach so many lies and disproven tall tales to children as if they were facts rather than teaching them truths early in life.
