yes but the light flow of a cob is rather narrow, the light will "turn less"

Would you like to elaborate this? Curious about what you mean since I've been thinking about getting a few of these.

@@englundlucas the way the cob is made + the speed ring... it acts as a reflector, so the light comes directly to the front white surface... when the light source is more in the center of the parabolic, then the light is bounce in all direction !
