Hey Jeff! Thanks man! Love your analysis as always, can't wait for you to see Top or Cliff haha. The melody matching the up and down with the waves is interesting I hadn't noticed that before! Some Info about Sejeong, She came second in Produce 101, as such was a member of I.O.I, primarily known though as an actor for her lead role in a number of netflix dramas. . This is not a predebut but it is her first full album. She really poured herself into this album, writing all the lyrics based on her life experiences and reworking the instrumentals as nessecary to fit. The "voyage" can be taken a number of ways. I'm sure just this album was a voyage for her, but also her future as an actress / musician. In the MV I'm also not 100%sure what was going after she entered the wardrobe, but she also looks surprised so I wonder whether it has to do with the way life is always taking her places and meeting people she could never have imagined. She is a huge IU fan, her appearance on IU's palette is a great episode to watch. She nailed this album, it truly is worth a listen right through. It goes from this to jazzy feels, to ballads, to indie, to "top or Cliff" and finishes on a cold play feeling song "in the rain", which she did an amazing performance of on It's Live :). She also has some really great mini albums from the past as well though, in particular, Warning and Teddy bear are some of my favourites :) Haha sorry had alot to say :p Talk soon man :)

@soundsgood4949 oh ok cool, thanks for clearing that up :) lol it would be cool if I had time to do research and learn all of this stuff for every artist but sometimes I gotta rely on you all in the comment section to feed me info. Only problem with that is sometimes I get conflicting info (not necessarily in this case cause this was more of a misunderstanding but in other vids I've had people give me directly opposing "facts")... shame I can't make knowing things as a living haha

Cool that you said she almost resembles Jihyo from TWICE in that shot. So perceptive of you! Sejeong and Jihyo happen to be BFs! There are vids of them vacationing together, hanging out with co-friend Nayoung, Jihyo seeking out Sejeong's friendship, etc. etc. I highly recommend Sejeong's cover of TWICE's "Alcohol Free." Very reaction-worthy, imho
@soundsgood4949 aww that's awesome! Twice is my ult group but it makes me happy to know there's stuff I can still learn like this all the time. I did see she had a cover of alcohol free cause when this video ended, YT recommended it lol. If you'd like, I can add it to the request queue for you. @@JeffReacts12 For what it's worth, Kim Nayoung is gorgeous, sweet, weird/funny, and an amazing singer (not as good as Sejeong although she did beat Sejeong in an informal trot singing contest). She was one of Jellyfish's entries in Produce 101 along w/ Sejeong, and she almost made it, not being eliminated till the very end. When I first saw her in a Gugudan MV I thought of the aloof hot girl in high school who only hung out w/ the cool kids. But after diving deeper I learned the only accurate part of that was "hot," lol.
@@soundsgood4949 LOL Hey, I'm always here for "hot" but I love goofy too. Some many of these idols are actually really funny (intentionally or not) which makes their appearance more of a bonus. I had never even heard of Jellyfish until Dayeon in Kep1er but they seem to have at least a few good talents!
