Just as I expected merging Windows 7 with another version of Windows, Just ends up bricking it. If anyone really wanted to truely have features from other versions of Windows in a specific version. The only option is to back port them or mimick them as a simply replacing files will not work but even it won't be perfect. I recently tried to get Windows 7's logon screen in Windows 8.1 and ended up giving up. Due to the fact it requires multiple files to be copied over some of which may end up bricking Windows 8.1, due Windows 7's files protentially lacking code and/or data that Windows 8.1 needs to function correctly. But yeah... on topic of the video it's self. The glitched recovery screen with Windows 10's boot screen was an unexpected result but also funny as well. Also well done with recovering the Windows 7 installation afterwards, I probably would just resorted to wiping it and re-installing but managing to recover it feels rewarding and saves the stress of having start again from scratch.

I might try this on an old laptop i have laying around. Just to see what happens on actual hardware. It’s about 14 years old, it is an Acer Aspire 7741Z. I don’t use it much anymore, as my main laptop is now a Toshiba Satellite L505, from 2010. it’s the same age as it, but I’m using it mainly because it’s a bit faster. Upgraded the HDD to an SSD, and i got 6GB of RAM. Not much, but it’s good enough for me.
