On a day that turned out to be pretty tough, I thought I’d take the opportunity to do a request we often get. How we would chase bigger Barra with live baits. 😉
These are the best vids mate. I have a request hodgie. Would love to see a video with you guys targeting these big Barra using your swimbait rod and some of your old Murray cod swimbaits. Would be epic. Great stuff mate 🤙🏾🤙🏾
Yep mate. For sure. I’ve got some big old timber swim baits that we used to use ‘before’ it was common place and lures soooo expensive. I understand and appreciate the workmanship in the timber stuff though. I have some of Jamie Fletty’s originals and am going to throw a few of them around soon hey. Cheers mate. ✌🏻😁
Absolutely mate. I’m looking forward to a bit of different stuff. You do get a bit complacent as time goes on, so I’m gunna do more with the vibes, blades, Cod Stuff etc. just to see how it all works in different scenarios mate. Loooove experimenting hey. 😉👌🏻
ONly small claw marks mate never mind ..nah fuck that . I hope you have done some 20m sprint training in those crocs (shoes) The best live baiter i ever saw used to fish the O'Connell river and the Andromache just south of Prossvagus , he only ever had one advice for me . The bigger the bait the bigger the barra you will catch and that tarpon is around the size of the live bait mullet we used to use ..Big Bucket mouths cant stop them , fun stuff on hand lines .
Ha ha ha 55 this year mate. Sprinting is for the young ones. I’m gunna have to fight.😝🤣 yes I agree about the live bait size, but it doesn’t seem to have the same practical application, well not for us anyway. Cheers hey.😉
Gday mate. Absolutely, but this one is pure, solid copper and I’m not sure where you’d find one. This was a gift from a mate of mine and he also wears one because they do help hey. It’s quite funny actually, sooo many people ask about the same thing, so not as odd ball as you’d reckon hey. Cheers mate. 👌🏻😉
