Just a tip, when u want to take off in a heavy aircraft, u should INITIATE by pushing the throttle 10-20% making sure all engine instruments r clear and green, then full thrust on in a mild speed, dont over speed and under speed, cause at the end of the day u wanna use the minimum runway length in order to keep traffic moving while keeping in mind the minimums and speeds. I have been watching your ATC videos for a while now and I just recently started taking a flight school from FXE in florida and on my 3rd flight we were doing a few touch and gos at Boca and we heard the tower talking with a private jet over the radio because he named his jet "superduperhawk" instead of "superhawk" because he modified it and I never knew that ATC workers could also make jokes while working XD

Very nice instructional video. I recently signed up with British Airways Virtual, where I'm now an integrated virtual pilot, to learn how to be a virtual pilot to help me learn to deal with emergencies in my job at the state hospital in Iceland where I'm also a clinical student. Both jobs require control under pressure and have good synergy between them in these ways which is why I'm using virtual aviation as a part of my clinical studies. This video showcases nice clearance and taxi procedures with ATC as well as the first few minutes after takeoff.

that's bs about no clearance at a charlie for VFR pattern work. I trained out of John Wayne and had to contact clearance prior to ground to request pattern work.

Love your videos! I still feel like flight sim needs work. The taxiways are so narrow in FS. The airports all need serious work. Also the run up to set power is very unrealistic. colors and cockpits as well as sounds still need so much work too, but hey at least we got it.
