I viewed the whole trilogy several times. I don't own the truth, but in my opinion, this is basicly the life of a man (the boy, the young man and the old-one in the aircraft). There are three importants passages : - the ritual with the crow, the boy becomes an adult and forget his dream (to be an aviator) and the love for the nature (represented by the girl in white) - he made a burnout in his life in the city and he returns to the nature and his dream (so he became an aviator after that) - the final ritual is his death, in this way he returns to the nature again and forever Too long to explain it all but I found an explaination for most of the scenes (but again it's just my point of view). I'll be glad to hear others ideas :)

@@floukinet very interesting. The girl in white could also be his soul. When we grow up we ofen lost contact with our soul because of our emotional armor, isn't it ?

@@mangrove02 I like your idea but I'm not sure. In "The stolen child" they said she is a fairy. Btw the pilot didn't die in the ritual because he is the old man that give the young man the necklace when he get out of the club. And the storytelling of the necklace seems very important too.

@@floukinet Yes, she's a fairy, you're right. She symbolises nature and perhaps innocence of the childhood too...the necklace is a kind of "memory link" and dreams...the power of imaginary, sure !

@@mangrove02 In a manner of speaking, our souls belong to fairies and fairies are living by our souls. So I think you were both right, Flouk and you. When the boy choosed the path of the knight he looses his soul. For me his soul is the necklace. In part 2, i think that the girl were on this beach because she was still searching his lost soul. Like one human one fairy. So she has just one. Aviator is a kind of messager. There was a time when aviators carried letters (like St Exupery). At the beginning of part 2, girl just try to ignore the aviator : she's still trying to recover the necklace. Finally the fairy choosed to give him the necklace because he is a messager. After all, he travelled across the storm. Then he gave it to the man in part 3. In part 3, we also see that the boy should have been the aviator. So the messager is a symbolic part of this man. Fairies are in the fight for us to not forget our souls. As we are destroying our world they disappear. I don't think the aviator "died" in the end of part 2, because spirits gave him to the moon by jumping out of the boat. The plane is in the pool with the reflect of the moon. So i don't think aviator is the future of the boy. It's just an healing memory by wich fairy find him again.

Тут мечты ребёнка воплощены во взрослом человеке, а встреча со стариком и момент передачи ожерелья только напоминает о том, что нужно «жить», а не «существовать». О том, что не нужно прекращать мечтать и поддаваться современному миру и его «требованиям», о том что время, к сожалению, скоротечно.
