@MLB Integrity Toys : There’s no way I could have tackled this re-root without a re-rooting tool. And, they can be purchased off Amazon for anywhere between $6 - $11 dollars. But as we say, "whatever makes your boat float!" You certainly got the job done … and it looks incredible! 🤩
Yes. You just have to be resourceful. I just used a regular sewing needles. For rerooting. Because I'm doing a tie knot method. Coz when you do the reroot then put fabric tack glue inside. There's no need for tie a knot, just glue. It would be faster. But for me I think the method I do is more secured than the glue one. Do what works for you. 🥰
Hello @MLB Integrity Toys : in your video, when you were listing the "Materials,” needed for the re-root, you showed the doll’s HAIR you would be using, but I noticed, you covered the ‘Brand’ name with your thumb. Can you please share with me, which brand of hair that you used, it would be greatly appreciated indeed. Also, the doll turned out absolutely scrumptious, gorgeous, and amazingly beautiful! I had no idea you could take an Integrity Toys doll’s head off with a simple hair dryer. I thought IT’s doll’s head were much harder to remove than Barbie’s. Anyway, keep your videos coming, I am certainly here for them!👍🏽
Oh Sorry I was not aware of that. I was only thinking about the shade of the hair. Was not thinking of the brand. Since it's not a sponsored video. I used a saran hair. I think any brand will do. But if you like me to be specific of the brand I used. It was Nutdotnut from Shopee PH. I hope that helps.
You need to heat up the head with hair blower or just hot water. To be able to remove IT Dolls head safely. IT heads are harder than Barbies head. There's a proper way of removing the head. Without having a crack neck. I will make a short video on how to remove IT head property without damaging the neck and head very soon. That's going to be on my next reroot project. Thanks for the support 🥰
I take my time with it. I don't rush it. Since the head is hard. It's not easy to push the sewing needle thru the hard head. Specially on the tiny holes at the hair line. It takes time. Than the bigger holes. When you do dip with hot water it's also hot on the fingers. Just need to be patient with it. That's why it take time.
Nice video, you are using the same method as me :) Just for the hair I use my mouth instead of hot water :) And for me it is very annoying when I accidentaly hit with the needle any knot of hair inside her head, that is already done and it pulls the hair strand out and I must search which one it was and pull it back :)
@@nitsuohquintero4683 Still thinking who's to Reroot next. I've already placed my saran hairs order online. I'm waiting for delivery. It would take about a week to get here. All my IT Girls are already looking good so far. I might have a Homme for reroot. To help you with the hair parting.
