Over the last couple weeks, Windsor has become more of an exciting place again due to the CN Sarnia tunnel derailment. It's just like Windsor the 1990s! So since this is not an opportunity I'd want to miss, I spent a decent amount of time trackside in order to put together a video of some of the trains I caught over the last couple weeks. Enjoy!
0:00 - CP 234 entering Windsor through the Detroit river tunnel with a CP & CEFX lashup
1:26 - CP T-41 entering the tunnel w/ CP 5037, BNSF 5758 & CP 5034
2:55 - CN M324 emerging from the tunnel with CN 3022 & 3852, and meeting CP 141
3:44 - CN 324 again, picking up speed as it makes it makes its way through VIA Lacasse in Tecumseh, heading for the county
4:33 - CP 140 rolling down the CP Windsor Sub towards Walkerville JCT w/ CEFX 1054 & CP 6308
5:35 - CP T-41 again inching up passed Lakeshore JCT in order to back into his train at Dougall ave.
5:48 - A CP power move heading into Walkerville Yard w/ CP 9654 & 8020
6:25 - Via 76 speeding through Tecumseh, ON w/ VIA 919
6:53 - A rail term truck heads east highrailing the VIA Chatham Sub
7:12 - Via 73 flies out of Pike Creek en route to Windsor w/ Via 909
7:36 - CN M367 strolls through Pike Creek w/ CN 2991 & CREX 1511
8:44 - 367 once again, now entering the Detroit river tunnel
9:48 - CN X328 pops out of the tunnel w/ CN 2108, 2116, 8802 & GT 4919
10:38 - X328 again, passing Tecumseh
11:16 - CN M326 emerging from the tunnel w/ CN 5484, 2541 & 8933
12:07 - CP 141 crossing over Dougall ave, and meeting 326 before heading for the tunnel

13:53 - CN M326 again crossing over Janette's Creek
14:35 - CN M367 speeding through Thamesville, ON w/ GECX 2033 & CN 2837
15:56 - 326 for a final time, picking up speed in Thamesville, ON
17:20 - CN M320 entering Windsor at the tunnel w/ GECX 2043 & CN 5681

My own backyard. I live in Windsor and I've taken plenty of videos from the CP tracks. I love the sound of those engines when they're starting off. POWER

I saw a few of these in Chatham at that time but I'm not too sure which trains I caught but I remember I caught quite a good amount of them!

Is the tunnel only one track?

Yes, the old south tube is no longer used for trains. It is only used for MOW crews with trucks.

I was sick and missed them all, nice video. Not knowing Windsor very well where were you for the first shot of the train coming out of the tunnel?
