Rescue 50 responding with Engine 502 to a vehicle accident. Units arrived with one vehicle down over an embankment. Crews assisted EMS with bringing the patient up and cleared after the vehicle was removed. Willow Street Fire Company. Taken 5/3/24

A: Our fire house is located in the town of Willow Street, just south of Lancaster City, Lancaster County Pennsylvania.

A: That is called the "Roto-Ray," it is a spinning light designed to catch drivers attention.
Q: "Why is the call so far away?" or "Why does it take so long to get there?"
A: Many of our responses, or at least many of the ones that are uploaded are responding to assist other departments. Usually another firehouse can be seen or is passed by who is already on the call. We can reach the far end of our first due in West Lampeter Twp within 5 minutes, and in Providence Twp about 7.
